Creative Writing 1 - Novel & Memoir: 12th - 18th June

This intensive five-day course will begin with a general look at the world of publishing both in literary fiction and memoir. We will examine what agents and ultimately publishers are looking for, and what sells. The course then takes a more practical approach, with writing intensive writing exercises to encourage students to write in a new environment and to take a closer look at their work in preparation and to prepare a plan of action for the coming months.

This course is led by literary agents, editors and successful authors of the highest calibre who will lend a critical eye to your work and discuss your ideas with you.

The course will also examine the fine line between memoir, autobiographical fiction and a writer’s first novel.
