Tracey Warr

Tracey Warr has published two historical novels: Almodis the Peaceweaver (Impress Books, 2011) set in 11th century France and Spain, and The Viking Hostage (Impress Books, 2014) set in 10th century France and Wales.

Her new novel, Conquest: Daughter of the Last King, set in 12th century Wales, will be published this autumn.

She received an Author's Foundation Award from the Society of Authors, a Literature Wales Writer's Bursary, a Santander Research Award, inclusion in the Rome Film Festival Book Initiative and was shortlisted for the Impress Prize. She is a UK Books Review Editor for Historical Novels Review and also writes for Times Higher Education magazine.
