I am a native of Dublin and started my publishing career at Poolbeg Press, before moving to London in 1991, working at a number of leading publishers, including HarperCollins and Hodder.
During the '90s and early '00s I held a number of high profile sales and marketing positions and worked closely with many authors and agents. This was my inspiration to change to 'the other side' and in 2003 I became a literary agent, moving to Curtis Brown in 2008.
I am very proud to represent a wide range of authors and I specialise in fiction, especially stories with an emotional hook, as well as crime and thrillers. My clients include Jojo Moyes, Santa Montefiore, Clare Mackintosh, Melissa Hill, Emma Kennedy & Isabelle Grey. In the non-fiction sphere, I'm interested in memoir, business, and MBS. Notably, I was delighted to work on Mindfulness: How to Find Peace in a Frantic World by Dr Danny Penman & Professor Mark Williams.
